    Default [Unofficial] SRL GFX Showcase

    Introduction
What this thread is, is basically a way for you gfx artists to exercise your skills and post any recent work here for users to see.
Why? Because many of us here want to learn and wants the point in progressing if you have no where to post your work? It's a much better alternative to dumping it some old folder which you will probably never re-visit again.

And something tells me vengeance09 will steal the show...

    Rules
    I'll keep it simple:
    • No hating
    • Constructive Criticism Only
    • Never put users off
    • No Previous Work

    Themes
If your stuck on what to post, here are some themes you could work on:

    • Abstract
    • Anime
    • War
    • Techno
    • Robots
    • Cartoon
    • Heavenly
    • Money
    • Drugs
    • Sport
    • Animals
    • Belief
    • SRL
    • Scripts
    • Freestyle

    I'll start it off:

Here's a signature I made recently, just experimenting with a new render:

    Rate/Hate?

Abu, your C4D (That's what it is, i believe) is a bit too... Blunt.
    Tune down the opacity.

It's Photoshop not C4D. With C4D you do things like this:

With photoshop - it's all (mainly) 2 Dimensional.

thanks aby i believe shay i stalking about the abstract conglomerate in your sig... in a lot of the graphics communities i've been on anything made in Cinema 4d is referred to as a C4d when used in making sigs.

It wasn't made in Cinema 4d, none of my graphics are.

Anyway, I guess I really like making more darker gfx (that's what you call it) than lighter ones.

He's talking about the abstract C4D image render that you used right behind the SRL text.

AFAIK, there is no 3D text option in Photoshop.

    You'll need Cinema4D for that.

There is one in PhotoShop Cs5 extended, I have it.
The 3d option isn't that great though.
