    Default Is this monitor good?

    Hello,
Last week my monitor broke up, so I want to buy a new one. I just use my monitor to watch movies, to edit images with photoshop, gimp... to edit some videos and to play some games (I'm not a hardcore gamer, I just play 2h per week or sometimes less)

I'm thinking of buying this monitor: http://www.digitalversus.com/lcd-mon...4957/test.html

But I don't know if it's a good monitor for the price or if it won't feed my needs, or if I should buy some other.

So if anyone can tell me if this is good or bad for me I would apreciate it.

    Thank you!

I believe IPS is the way to go for quality...that monitor seems to fit your needs nicely (not a hc gamer)

I'm using one of these for my dual setup currently and I would recommend it:

    http://ncix.ca/products/?sku=57310&v...nufacture=ASUS

It's great, I have it beside an hp monitor and the difference is very noticeable, from the colors to overall quality. I'd like to replace my hp with another one of these eventually. :P

The price tag on yours seems a bit steep imo, also looks like a flimsy design for a monitor.

27" @ 1080p is awful from reviews I've seen. The DPI is lower and it can seem pixelated.

Shoot for <24" @ 1080p. You can get a Dell Ultrasharp U2312HM on Dell Outlet for $210.

Or you can wait for sales at microcenter or a similiar store. I have 5 of them, each new at around $175 each.
    I'm back
