Default Downloading SRL - 05-15-2008, 12:15 AM
Downloading SRL

SRL is maintained through a sub repository system; this means that SRL is directly downloadable through SCAR, and can be auto updated through SCAR each time a new version of SRL is released.

To learn how to setup the sub repository and download SRL, please read this post (Setup Scar 3.12 and SRL Repository!) or this post (Setting Up Scar DIVI and SRL Repository).

If you have problems setting up the sub repository, please firstly search the forums, and if this fails, post your problem in detail in this forum (SRL Subversion Repository Installation and Help).

For more guides and information on setting up SCAR and installing and updating SRL please have a look at the How To Auto tutorials forum.

I have a mac osx. Would i be able to download srl and run scripts on it, or is it only windows compatible?

Welcome to SRL

SCAR / SRL is only Windows based.

There are options to use SCAR on Macs by either using a Virtual Machine (search for it), or using some program to DualBoot Mac's OS and Windows (IMO Virtual M. is easiest).

It could have something to do with a firewall, if im not wrong. Check your settings.

Im getting this message

Failed when compiling
Line 480: [Error] (5926:73): Type mismatch in script C:\Documents and Settings\-\Desktop\SRL/SRL/Core/Mapwalk.scar

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
