Permanently Banned

Today I was botting and was disconnected from RuneScape and sentenced to a Permanent Ban.

I guess this is just to say be careful.

I originally joined and although my post count is low, I was working on a strong range guild script that was almost finished. I still wan't to learn scripting but chances are I'm going to have to leave Runescape. Anyways, happy scaping!

I enjoy this community a lot! Thanks for all the awesome scripts!

I used Simple FightCaveTrainer, and Sape's Ranged Guild Minigame.

Can't say exact times, not suicidal for sure but I did them a little bit more than probably a casual player should have.

Casual players don't do either of those two events, they're both prime spots for botters. It's no surprise anyone could get banned at either of these two locations.

A friend of mine got banned coz of 07, he has been killing a lot of green dragons and he got banned. He hasn't been botting for at least half a year.

And now someone else : mentions that all of his accounts on 07 got banned as well, he was botting, but he was also banned on the accounts on which he didn't bot at all.

I just want to say that I am well into the top 100 in the hiscores for the skill that I am training and I have been running a fight cave script as close to 24/7 as errors would allow me since about 2 weeks after release.

Its kind of funny, for ~3 years we had no major bans on SRL, then within last month we have had like 10? "bans" .

Seems like human error to me.

True.... Last guy i heard that got banned was cause he was spam clicking a tree for like 2 days...

Yep it's a combination of the normal push-to-play botters who are still accustomed to going all-out botting with the past java bots. 'Suicide botting' is normal to them. It's also because there's certain places in Runescape that naturally will be filled with bots. As I said before, these two locations are only populated by bots. They might as well have a flag above their head saying "Ban me".

This. People need to read some tuts on good anti-ban. They're used to EOC Jagex doesn't give two poots

I just hope, with the massive amount of people on here using simba to script, that Jagex doesn't start implementing ways to detect smart since a whole lot of people are using it now.

I don't think we have anything to worry about, we won't become wBot sized and blow up that quick, however I am worried for TrileZ now that wBot is down../:

You never know. It seems like there is always more new people coming by more and more. The amount of people viewing the old runescape script section is crazy. It's a shame anti-leech was removed.

With Anti-leech gone, people have just removed their scripts..While it does encourage learning and writing your own..leeches are getting banned now. I don't really know how I feel about it TBH.

I'm sorry that they got banned using Simba, but honestly they probably would have been banned whatever they were using. Flax, essence, ect, will probably get you banned sooner or later.

Yeah, I'm debating about making another account. Not sure If I should even bother considering I don't have AS much time as I used to be able to play the game so in the end I'd end up botting just as hard as I did before to be let down once again.

Gl fight caves. Just hordes of bots these days. Nat running is near impossible

Just bot things that aren't being abused massively and you'll be fine.
Then switch when jagex targets other big locations that bots use. Simple.
