Mod Mat K bans legit player at Flax

Mod Mat K bans a legit player who was actually picking up flax
Their bot busting and detection system is pretty bad, and can't detect the difference between the legit and real player.
The guy was banned, but then unbanned shortly after his friend had PM'ed Mod Mat K about the mistake.
No word from Mod Mat K or Jagex about this mistake or issue.

That's because it was a manual ban, not one detected by the software. If the detection could actually find bots they wouldn't need manual bans like this.

Yeah, They are going to bring detection into 07 but atm its just manual and reports.

The dumb thing is that this means if there's someone you don't like you can get them banned by getting people to report them :/

Yeah, a friend of mine was visited by some jmod 2twice already. He has a very rare name, so people are trying to get him banned to get his name released. It's pretty sad at what lengths people will go to.

There's a huge market around them. People want rare names and its in high demand. Especially since people will pay like 500-600m per rare name. Im talking about those like the name "if" "it" that were sniped as they were being sold. Some names can reach in the 1bil+.
