Hey guys, I'm planning to apply to a variety of different universities (in Canada) come fall, so I need to start picking now!!
Im planning to go into Computer Science OR Software Engineering, where Software Engineering is my preference. However, I absolutely DETEST physics. And turns out most of the universities for SE requires Physics :/
My main focus is on Waterloo, U of T, Queens, and Lakehead.

My courses next year are as follows:

Advanced Functions
Calc & Vectors
Data Management
Computer Engineering
Engrish
Grade 10 Photography (turns out that the tech design course I took in Grade 10 DIDN'T count as an Art credit, so gg me... -.-)
Accounting (Gr12)

Also taking Computer Science during the summer.

I'm doing very well in Math (90s), so it's not a problem for me.

Back to the main topic, what're some good universities for Comp Sci/SE?
My List:

Queens Comp Sci
Waterloo
U of T
Lakehead
Carleton

Help me out!

I have never actually heard of any of those as being good for Software Engineering/Computer Science...
I'm familiar with:
1)Massachusettes Institute of Technology (absolute best, but yeah...)
2)Milwaukee School of Engineering (software engineering side)
3)Iowa State University (if you're leaning to the software engineering side over computer science)
4)Minnesota State University (computer science side)
5)The university in Austin Texas... I forgot if it's U of T or TSU
6)University of Iowa (computer science side)

I've heard Waterloo is good for engineering, but I haven't heard of it for software engineering. Mostly civil engineering is what I've heard about it.

It's not like USA costs more to people out of the country... If anything it's cheaper for you because you're not from the U.S.
