Anyone know what happened to him after the fall?
Anyone know what happened to him after the fall?
Death. He's attached to a rope but the rope is connected to something way below him so it looks like he'll fall then get hit with a gazillion tons of ice.

Well that escalated quickly. Just saw the same thing on Game of Thrones. Hmm.

He survived with minor injuries, translated from German
Urs Odermatt, on Hydrophobia in Brunnital(Switzerland),? 7. March 2005 survived the 25m fall, but the ONLY injury was a bruising in his left thigh."

Nono, the same sort of thing (falling off a wall of ice) happened in Game of Thrones when I watched it last night... :P

I can believe he survived easily. What I find insane is the fact that he survived with only minor bruising. Even ignoring the ice, that was a 25 meter fall, apparently.
That is one big icicle :D
I think those ropes saved him somehow

Well perhaps the snow below softened his fall.
The only reason I said I couldn't believe he survived was I assumed he could have been buried under the snow not to mention having some of the ice fall on him and or crush him. But hey this is just one of those freak accidents that people walk away from with minor injuries, we've seen it before.
