[Error] (17774:4): Semicolon (';') expected

Is there any way to identify exactly which line is causing this? Or is SRL messing up itself?

It does say which line. What you posted isn't the whole error message. It should say
"Line 18: [Error] (17680:1): Semicolon (';') expected in script"

However, it won't necessarilly be on line 18, I find usually it is the preceding line that has the error.

you are wrong. sometimes it gives just error without line number

it usually means program name doesnt have it:D
not like this:
program WoodCutter
do it this way:
program WoodCutter;

Yep, maxine is right. But if you posted the script, then we might be able to help more.

Well 1st of all, do you have any constants in the script? like below.
const LogColor = 454641;?

if you so, make sure that you put the semicolon (;) after the numbers.
do this after every variable line, and after the program title.

These are just some of the things I forgot to do, and I got the same error.

I hope this helps

if the script isnt too long, try reading through it. thats a bit slow, but may work and same time u may detect the other errors without compiling again.

talk to the owner of the script then post it for us
