SoTW #18 Discussion

Hello and welcome to Signature of The Week #18!

After a couple of years of no contest, SOTW is back!

Basically, the idea of the game is every week a new topic is stated, and a signature has to be made on that idea.

The winner of each contest will receive a prize! Hobbit has kindly agreed to delve into the SRL prize fund to reward SOTW winners.
The exact amount has yet to be decided, but hey, prizes?!

Also, repeat winners will get a title to show off their GFX skills.
If someone is the winner of three weeks they'll get the title "GFX Guru"!

Please don't think you're not good enough to get involved; everyone is welcome, and practice makes perfect!

You may discuss about this in this thread, to prevent multiple threads.

A few ground rules:
* NO modifying a signature already submitted, if you aren't happy with it, don't submit it.
* Keep all the chat in this thread.
* Only one entry per person per week.
* Do NOT copy signatures from other places.
* Stick to the topic at hand.
* Do NOT recycle old signatures. Make new ones.
* Have fun and be creative!

At the end of this week, I will create a new thread for the judging of the signatures we get in this week.

This week:
Theme: To kick things off, freestyle!
Deadline: Sunday 4th August

Please do not post your entries in this thread yourself, or include your name in your entry. PM your submission to me, and I will add it to this thread.
This is to stop people voting based on who made the signature to make it all a bit fairer.

Wow sorry, didn't even see this! How did this go under the radar? Thanks for the mention, might of missed it otherwise!

Suggestion: Seperate topic for the entries, rather than a seperate post on the discussion thread? That way you can keep all the comments in one place and the entries in another, makes it a bit easier for whoever is running it I guess.

I just reformatted my computer recently, so I'll need to find my photoshop disk in this rubble of a room, but once I do I'll put in an entry! Gl all! ^^

EDIT: A few more things, just gonna bullet them for ease of reading:

1. Running a voting thread for the week of a new SoTW (Example, after the Voting for SoTW #18 (http://villavu.com/forum/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=18) is up, start the thread for SoTW #19 (http://villavu.com/forum/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=19) ) but it might be best just to see how popular it becomes before you do this :)

2. A HoF (Hall of Fame) thread, for all the previous winners and just so there's a collection of all the winning pieces that people can look at for inspiration, or just to be amazed by work people can make.

3. Just concede and give me the title already, I'm gonna win ;) (I'm not competitive I swear...)
