why such a powerful graphics card & weak drive?

Yeah this, nice build but I would've spend more on the HDD. Perhaps a Seagate SSHD or just a 64/128GB SSD in addition to a normal HDD. Perhaps it doesn't bother you though but it's certainly worth the extra price IMO.
What games do you plan on playing?

his best option atm would be the 32gb sandisk cache drives, but yea you stunt entire system performance with drives

Enough lights to land a plane at night :P
Just a quick question, do you OC or just let it sit at stock speeds?

I assume he OCs cause of the liquid cpu cooler.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering.

If only I had room for those monitors...

Most of my data is sitting on that external ;). I've been thinking of getting a ssd but the cost at the moment isn't worth it.

I've been on the fence about SSD's, he cost isn't worth the speed for me, my Sata 6gb connections are fast enough for me using my WD Black.
For games...
TF2, Battlefield, Tomb Raider, Skyrim, Smite...anything I see that interests me lol.

Using the Tiermaster fans that came with the case and two Coolmaster fans ( http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103073 )
Which fans are you using?

Currently have it Oc'd to 4.2 for now; I may Oc some more but during the summer it's too humid.

$40 for around 4 times the performance is well worth it imo

Forgot to state, the WD Black is from Rma'ing my original WD Blue that only lasted a week.
The Blue cost me 100 bucks. The one people have been recommending me is 249, which is another hundred for less than half a terabyte (256gb).
The ssd: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147193
Why I'm on the fence is the cost to size ratio; just seems so much more for that little bit of speed.

A cache SSD is something you should look into, because that isn't really similar at all to what you're talking about

Link me a recommendation? As that is what people keep telling me to look at (That ssd I linked above).

Do you notice a performance difference between 3.5ghz and 4.2? does it boost your frames in a game like bf3?

I've never ran it stock so I couldn't tell ya ;). I run BF3 maxed settings though with no issues.
Decided to go balls out...

yea plug in, install software (free on their site) it'll turn it into a cache drive for whatever big harddrive
usually first things to get cached in my testing are majority of the operating system "used a lot" files.. like the GUI stuff etc, and internet browsers too ofc cuz we all got that open 24/7
other than that, depends on user
