View Full Version : Counting items in inventory???

I'm in a bit of a fix. I'm trying to make a super fast crafting script but I need to learn how to program scar to count the number of hard leathers converted into hard leather bodies. If i use this:

repeat until FindChatText('Nothing interesting happens.');

like ThickAsBlood does in his script, then I will lose about 5% speed (and it is more detectable).

Also I can't count the number of times I run the procedure to convert the leathers to bodies (repeat until i=27- where i is number of times done)because sometimes the program is intended to miss the target for anti-ban reasons.

So how should I go about this? Are there any functions/creative methods. If so I just kindly request someone to point me in the right direction (i.e. a tutorial) because I don't even know where to start to look for such a function. I know that Wizzup's powerminer does something similar but the items in the inventory do not change (from leather to body) in a powermining script.

Please help me :spongebob:

Thanks

You can use a DTM, and then let it look for the DTM. DTM finding is very fast so you won't lose any significant speed.
Only takes < 500 ms to do.
Or you can use inventorycount for normal inventory counting.

Okay thanks a lot! I will look into it.

BTW sorry for posting in the wrong section. This should really be under "Scripting Help".
