View Full Version : Would this multiplayer enhancement be useful??

I think that there is a key weakness if you use the current multiplayer in SCAR. When switching players it always goes in order 0-x (x=number of players-1). It should theoretically be possible for Jagex to catch you this way if they monitor your IP address. Imagine logging in and out the same way for an extended period of time; it would be suspicious wouldn't it?

I'm thinking about adding random functions to the multiplayer (maybe have 20 players and script picks a random 5 and chooses a random order). Before I do it though I'm just wondering whether it would be practically useful or maybe I'm just a bit too paranoid about getting banned :D. If anyone thinks it is then I might start working on it; it should be really easy actually.

If I'm right there's a global var randomplayer that decides if nextplayer goes randomlly chooses a player.
