Once again Jagex has tried to trick us. They've placed a new folder called .jagex_cache_34 now in your WINDOWS Folder. So far I'm still getting uids in .jagex_cache_32 and .jagex_cache_34

So be on the look out.

This could have a connection with what Fakawi was talking about with the new way to track dual logins.

Mmhm.. Does it only show if you are Duel logging? ( If they were smart they would Hide the UID file ) but their not haha :] But then I don't know if they could call it to their servers to record the data.
But yeah like Hobbit said keep an eye on the folders in your windows folder :]

its always been like this.

Also when u use the RS map, it creates Jagex_cache_32 or something, uid can also be in there.

Can also be in file_store_32 or 34, something like that.

Usually it changes folder when the original UID.dat cant be accessed for some reason.

I ment that they have always used multiple folders.

Maybe open your eyes and read my post.

lol, my program already dealt with this folder...

It's got all known folders for the uid.dat file searched.

First of all maybe know what your talking about before flaming other people or you will you flamed yourself.

Second. Originally they put it in .file_store_32, then they started putting in .jagex_cache_32, NOW they created new folder .jagex_store_34 and have been putting it there sometimes, but nto everytime. And now you only get UIDs in .file_store_32 randomly when you open RS map.

1. It wasnt flaming.

2. Maybe you should take your own advice:

public void method561(int i, int i_0_, String string, int i_1_) {
if ((i_1_ ^ 0xffffffff) > -33 || (i_1_ ^ 0xffffffff) < -35)
i_1_ = 32;
if (i_0_ < 17)
method563(54, 11);
String[] strings = { "c:/rscache/", "/rscache/", "c:/windows/",
"c:/winnt/", "c:/", "/tmp/", aString1506, "" };
String[] strings_2_
= { ".jagex_cache_" + i_1_, ".file_store_" + i_1_ };
boolean bool = false;
for (int i_3_ = 0; (i_3_ ^ 0xffffffff) > -3; i_3_++) {
for (int i_4_ = 0;
(strings_2_.length ^ 0xffffffff) < (i_4_ ^ 0xffffffff);
i_4_++) {
for (int i_5_ = 0; strings.length > i_5_; i_5_++) {
try {
String string_6_ = strings[i_5_];
if ((string_6_.length() ^ 0xffffffff) < -1
&& !new File(string_6_).exists())
continue;
File file = new File(string_6_ + strings_2_[i_4_]);
if ((i_3_ ^ 0xffffffff) == -2 && !file.exists()) {
boolean bool_7_ = file.mkdir();
if (!bool_7_)
continue;
} Directly from the RS client

1. ^^^^

2.I wasn't talking about UID code itself I'm talking about where it was being placed.

That code determines where it will be placed.

Second. Originally they put it in .file_store_32, then they started putting in .jagex_cache_32, NOW they created new folder .jagex_store_34 and have been putting it there sometimes, but nto everytime. And now you only get UIDs in .file_store_32 randomly when you open RS map.

Your comment is completely false, sometimes? what, the client randomly chooses? no, it uses the above code i posted. If the uid cant be accessed in the first place it finds it, it will try a different folder (hence why you get multiple locations).

what would happen if I deleted these files?

The client will generate a new UID when its loaded next time.

Hobbit

And if you delete while client is still open wont help because it is stored in memory until you close client.
