New randoms while doing nothing

I was standing in the bank, playing legit, doing nothing, and suddenly I got a scaperune (prison pete)!!
Is this new? I wasn't doing anything.

Well, its not extremely new, but I think that its still pretty new. I've noticed it to. Kinda annoying really.

:p I was just standing around in a bank tweaking part of my script, and I also got a scaperune (two scaperunes and one pinball, yesterday I got two boxes and three mollies)

I always thought you couldn't get randoms while doing nothing.

Yea you always get randoms randomly.
I do it on purpose to get the kickass clothes!
I just open my bank and scroll around every few minutes.
Exit my bank and boom a random!
