Okay,

Im very new to this form of scripting, I used to do some C++ but that is about it. Anyway, Im using an oak woodcutting script, which compiles without any errors. But it is unable to run and gives me the following runtime error:

[Runtime Error] : Exception: File paths can not contain any of these characters: / : * ? " < > | in line 138 in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.10\includes\SRL\SRL.scar

I have visited the "line 138" and don't see any mention of the path it is giving me up there. What do I need to do?

Go to SRL Inst. Problems section. Read the sticky by YoHoJo...

I downloaded Scar 3.06 and the runtime error(s) went away. However, Im still having somewhat of a hard time finding a script that will do what its supposed to. For instance, a miner will log me in, then say "found compass" and just stop moving..or something of that nature.

Are these type problems really common? Again I don't really know what to expect from these things...
