that is what pops up when i try to use a script i have Includes, and downloaded SRL from here and then i downlaoded Srl from the SCAR program itself. what do i do? and yes i have searched for it i can't find anything for it for all you mods.

Is SetupSRL in the main loop? (no, I'm not gonna explain main loop if you don't know what is. You'll have to find that out by reading some tutorials)

when you go into the SCAR folder it is under includes then the SRL folder then the other SRl folder then at the bottom of that 2nd SRL folder is the SetupSRL if that makes any sence to you?

The bottom of the script where it has

end.


Near the beginning of that "begin", does the script have SetupSRL;? It's either that, or the script is calling for a DTM/Bitmap that hasn't been declared, or is calling for something the script can't access for some reason.

So you have 2 options:

1. Learn to script and try to fix the problem yourself (if what I said above doesn't help.. :p)

2. Find another script that will compile for you.

Good idea :) It is always an admirable aspect to hold your tongue.

Also, you may not see it, but Ram has never meant anyone any harm, perhaps in your frustration you just took it the wrong way.

As for a script that compiles and works well, I would recomend Wizzups? ess miner. It is a beauty, and is what encoraged me to begin scar scripting myself.

for further clarification to get you searching the right things

when jagex updates the game engine , scar has to change to adapt to it

yuo may have a crappy script that just doesn twork, or you may need to update your scar library... (by searching for game engine update)

or you could download srl 3.81. Comon guys, Help him out, we dont hate every lazy person here. Make sure you have Scar 3.11 and SRL 3.81.

check screen resolution, make sure ure using a good script. read the scripts instructions.

if all else fails, delte scar comptly form ure computer, and start again.

just dl scar 3.11 from freddy site, and use it to download the includes, and srl

After about an hour and a half on msn wiht me. it is all worked out now. Problems were that he didnt have the right version of srl or scar. And that he did nt know how to edit the palyer array correctly.

resolution was a complete unistal of all scar stuff. Redownloaded, and used the build in download button to get srl.

as for the player array, i made his delete any thing wiht players[5] in it, all the way down to player[1] so it owuld work wiht one player. and explained to him how easiliy abanble this was.
