How To Get SRL Stats

Before I start telling you how to make a Stats Id, read what Wizzup? has to say...

I will repeat it, this is not allowed

This will be removed in a few days, I'll just leave it standing there so you can see what is not allowed.
We have script stats for your scripts, it is NOT allowed to make a default user for you scripts aswell.

If a leecher uses a script, and doesn't want to participate in SRL-STATS, he will not let SCAR connect to the internet anyway...

In other words DON'T make stats for just one script. You can be banned for it.

What is SRL Stats Id?

Srl stats id is the connection between your script and this website.

Why do I need a SRL Stats Id?

The Srl stats id will show how long you autoed with that script

How do I get a SRL Stats Id?

First you go to the main page of the Srl-forums, and click the SRL Stats Link.

Now go down to Register, and click the link.

Fill out the form completely and press Complete Registration.

Now it will tell you your User Id and password, only for Srl stats
(Does Not need to be the same as your login pass)

Remember them, write them down...

Now you have Stats Id :D

How do I add SRL Stats Id to my script?

First you will need to Open SetUpSrl.Scar in your folder path Includes>>SRL>>SetUpSrl.Scar.

(If you do not have this script download the attachment)

Run this program and put in you ID and password.

Press Save Settings and your ready to auto with stats :D

You can also to be safe I add to scripts that have it...

MySRLID = '1'; //<- Your SRLID. Leave blank if you dont have one.
MySRLPassword = 'password'; //<- Your SRL Password here if you want to have yout stats logged

How do I get a Stats Signature?

First go back to Srl stats main page and Sign in and go to My Account Link.

Looking at the bottom of that page you will see your Stats Signature. Just copy and past the bold link in your signature.

Now You are looking cool with Srl status and a new signature :D

Hope this helped you get Srl status. If you having trouble finding you signature just click mine above and type in your Srl Stats ID. :D

If i put SRl stats in a script, It would work fine till it got to sending the report. Then it hangs up.

Make sure SCAR isn't being blocked by a firewall and make sure that you allow the connection to the SRL Stats server.

When it asks you do you want to connect with this <insert websites name here> Click the always button. If its a firewall problem you will need to Google how to allow programs to run and connect to the net :D

You don't manually login, the script will do it for you :D

When i run SetUpSRL.scar it opens a second tab called SCSS and keeps telling me: Failed when compiling
Line 67: [Error] (7040:1): Unknown identifier 'ChangeFPHandle' in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.11\includes\srl\srl\misc\SCSS.scar I know that your just going to tell me that i didnt install it correctly and re-download SRL but I did it exactly the way it says and i can't figure it out... plz help

EDIT: actually i just noticed... it does this no matter what script i try to open and it didn't do this till i tried redownloading SRL...

This Tut has nothing to do with what you are asking... But did you run SetUpSrl.scar? Do you have Srl 4 beta?

I'm pretty lost sorry = /, i went in the SRL 4 beta folder and there was no SetUpSrl.scar...couldn't find it in the scar folder either is it named something else for SRL 4 beta?

Not that I know of... You will have to ask a mod or adim. I would just make another one :D

You are trying to run SRL.scar... You need to run SetUpSrl.scar :D

When i click on the srl stats link, all i get is internet explorer can't load page, I have an id# but lost it in a crash and am trying to recover it. Like the fool I am I didn't write it down, and lost it when i lost my scar and all my scripts on drive. Please send gargamael77 a message with the info on how to find my stat ID# again. Sorry for the trouble, try to learn from my mistakes.

I have a few problems. I downloaded the SetupSrl file. I open the file with SCAR and it doesnt open up in that easy to use program that you have a picture of in the 1st post. Its a big script and when i go to the bottom theres no place to enter my SRL ID and password.

And also if i just hit play on the SetupSrl script i get this error:

Line 67: [Error] (12334:13): Unknown identifier 'SRLVersionNumber' in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.14\includes\SRL\SetupSRL.scar

So could someone explain exactly where im supposed to be entering my srl id and password in the SetupSrl file. Much thanks!

i have same error as toerala the type mismatch error. im thinking that it could have something to do with the setupsrl that was posted being out of date with current scar 3.15. anyone have a newer version of setupsrl or a solution to this problem yet? any help would be great

Dude, I have my stats in my sig, but all I see is a white box with a red x in the center of it. Wtf? Why cant I see my picture? Does It have to do with my firewall or what? Sorry, I read through the thread but didn't see anything about this. If someone already explained sorry. Thanks for help!
