I have an old laptop that I got from a friend. Its an old HP running like 733mhz. So it can't run scripts but it can play RS.

I made a script to keep myself logged in on RS. I like this script because I usually have to run to do something for like 3 mins and 1 second, just enough time to log out.

I like to play RS on the laptop because it doesn't burn my legs like my other laptop does. So I was wondering if there was any way to make a script less of a resource hog. I was thinking putting in longer wait times but it doesn't seem like it helps that much. Then I thought running SRL must take some resources so I was thinking about trying to take parts of SRL out to make it use just enough of SRL to make it click on the gametabs, but I can't figure out how.

Any ideas to help me?

Condence it as much as possible, but if you're still getting your RAM all used up, then I suggest finding a different, more efficient coding language (Delphi, Pearl, w/e) but most of the time they're harder to learn.

SCAR is based off of Pascal, which is mostly used as a teaching language, and the makers of Pascal made it easy to use, but they didn't think it would have 100+ lines of code to run at a given time. Pascal(SCAR)=Easy, awesome, cool, etc... but inefficient = bad on slow comps XD

If you REALLY need to run scar, just buy a stick of RAM, it was like 50$ for a 250 and 100$ for a 500. That was like 2 yrs ago, so the prices have prolly dropped a lot... Your choice.

Sorry if you've already thought of all of this XD Just trying to help.
