Want to learn how to script =(

I've read nearly everyone of these tuts 32952 times, i still don't understand one thing about scar and srl other then every line needs to end with ; XD, if anyone could help me out or give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated

I don`t understand much either, but what you should do is keep reading on the WIKI and look at other peoples scripts, mainly there first scripts to get a jist of things, thats what I`m currently doing, and its starting to help me in some aspects. so just keep reading and good luck

go to the tut section on this forum there are beginner tuts intermediate and advanced you should begin with beginner

srry for double post

1. use some scripts from others and try to fix erors after using them few weeks
you know how scar works than read tuts again
2. or just try to make simple things and just some persons cant make scripts i thought in teh begining i cant make them after that time lets try some tuts (after i used scar much)so i was able to make a smal prayer leveling script(no released yet ) with much hulp but now i know much of it( much more)maybe i am able to make my own bone bury script now without help
so just got some1 on msn and try it maybe add me ill could help you a bit better can add some1 from srl member section

This is how I learned to script... :D

About a year ago I had no idea haw to say hello world in the scar debug... I eventually learn and mastered using WriteLn('hello world');. So I decided to make a script but I didn't know where to start so I started a thread asking if people could help me make a script. Five people said they would help but one actually helped and we both learned from others mistakes and read more experance scripters scripts. We asked questions and of course we messed up at time but we learned through our mistakes together :D

Moral is your not alone and try to find some one to work with you on a script :D

You havent really read those tutorials? read those tuts like "making simple script" or something. then try to make your own one, like copying things from other people script. (not like sumilions hardcore, but some simple scripts with no multiplayer) eventually you start to see what different prodecures do in scripts. 1. learn to read scripts and understand them. open simple script and go through all prodecures and functions and try to understand them. (still DONT read fawkis or sumilions scripts)

i just think you dont understand english enough or something, simple scripting aint that hard really. read all tuts once more!
