View Full Version : No scripts work?? Help..
All my scripts just log in and sit there. I'm using SCAR 2.03 and SRL 3.6.. When I use SCAR 3.11 and newest SRL hardly any scripts work without errors, so don't tell me to get latest SCAR/SRL...

Too bad.
Get the latest SCAR/SRL.
All the older ones are broken because of updates. Even the newest SRL is in need of an update because of changed lamp and box bitmaps.
Though, if you want, you can search for bankscreen fix, and loading fix, and fix up one of the old srl's. Note that they might work, but I doubt they'll work for long, because a number of other changes have been made that are only addressed in newer srl's.
Well town told me to get this SCAR/SRL .. when I use the latest 90% of the time I get an error with the script i'm trying to use. So far the only script I got to work was dontpanic's auto flaxer and buckys fletcher which just kept opening bank up..
edit: I just got the latest SCAR/SRL again and yeah this happens..

Logs in and sits there? You probably haven't fixed the old login bug (when they changed the loading system). Theres a fix for it in the update section I believe.

This is what happens with any script I try with latest SCAR/SRL, do I need to do something with the color?

I think that script was designed for scar 2.03 and srl 3.7.
Try running it on that.
Download link if you don't have it.

Or, you could just add {.include SRL/SRL/Extended/XColor.scar} or whatever it is.

You get errors when using the latest versions, so just shutup and use 2.03 with SRL 3.6/3.7.
Arrogant new member.
and the scripts log in and do nothing with SCAR 2.03 .. hence my first post.
edit: star told me scar has a nicer community then iBot.. I guess not.

We do, but these scripts are obviously not being updated anymore, and dont work anymore even with SRL 3.6, because SRL 3.6 doesnt work anymore. You need the new version, and if these scripts dont work anymore, there isnt anything you can do except make another script yourself or hope it gets updated.
Ps- How can you expect us to be nice when you dont even read the topic for other people having the same question as you? Jad's topic has about 20 people making the same questions as you.
i'm just confused because town told me to get SCAR 2.03 with SRL 3.6 so I do and the scripts work but they just log in and sit there, and all the scripts I try with SCAR 3.11 and SRL 3.81 must not be updated (and i've tryed like 10 from this foum).. otherwise i'm doing something else wrong, I get diffrent erros on each script..

For SRL 3.6, you need to manually fix quite a few bugs, from all the Jagex updates. What scripts are you using? Post some of the errors, most of them are probably old scripts.

1: That should be solved by adding the XColor that I posted above a while ago. This might still not work, cause it is old, and I havnt even heard of it. Try BobboHobbo's, or try to get your hands on a copy of Born2Code's yew cutter.
2: That's just an error by the scripter. Add
Var Chopped : Integer;
where the rest of the variables are being declared.
Alright but I have no scripting experience at all lol and the Xcolor is {.include SRL/SRL/Extended/XColor.scar} or is it somethign different?
edit: I have no clue what I am doing.. I have no clue where to put them in and where would I get a copy of born2codes yew cutter?

Learn the very basics of scripting so you CAN add that.
Well I added the var thing and get a new error:
Failed when compiling
Line 78: [Error] (15072:5): Unknown identifier 'ClickText' in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.11\SmAcKmE Power Wcer V.2.0.scar
I will try to learn some scripting but it seems very complicated to me.
