Hi, I'm probably the newest member here, this is my first post. I haven't used these applications in a long time. Used to be a big time script modifier at Kaitnieks. Never got good enough to write my own unfortunately:( I've decided as of late to give it another shot.

Before attempting to write any scripts, I'm wanting to learn how to download and use SRL correctly. I have followed the steps and walkthroughs to the best of my ability ( I have Windows Vista, so things look different).

I have SCAR and SRL downloaded and everything. Editing this post for clarity.

I decided to use SCAR Divi 3.11 and the accompanying SRL. I'm having various random problems, but the one that I don't understand how to fix is this:

Runtime Error] : Out Of Range in line 47 in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.11\Scripts\xxxxxx

I only want to run one character and I don't know how to set it up for that. If anyone could give me some sort of info, it'd be appreciated. Thanks.

First you need to go download SCAR Divi CDE 3.11 from Freddy1990.com
then download SRL 4 Beta from this site from the Download SRL Here section.

I'm trying to use 2.03 with the SRLv370.rar set-up. My biggest problem is most definitely LoadChars failed. I tried the practice setup and everything and after I have done that all I get (paraphrased):

Compiled
LoadChars failed-(says it doesn't have this file even though I've manually installed it into both SRL and SCAR folders)
Executed

I simply don't understand.

SRL4.0 is the only current version that is compatible now...look in tutorial island if you need help installing it, then make sure any scripts you use are "SRL 4 Compatible" ....then if you have any more questions, post back...
