I'm confused

I am a noob so bare with me. I have downloaded SCAR (the newest version) and downloaded some Woodcutting scripts to go along with it. I have done everything the instructions have said to do (start in bank, axes etc. everybody knows this bit) I fill out the things that need filling out and start next to the trees I need to cut. When I try to run the script I get "Failed while compiling". Thus why I am confused. It has the information it needs, is it SCAR 3.01 that can't compile the code, or is it a mistake on my end? Help would be appreciated and sorry if this was a confusing post.

Oh...lol I got confused over which SCAR was on my desktop. I just registered on the forums but have had SCAR troubles before. And the error has something to do with c://Documents and what not. Something to do with line 14 compiling error.

Download the latest version of SRL from here...

make sure all scripts you are trying to use are compatible with SRL 4

How can I tell if they are compatible with SRL 4. And isn't the newest version 3.06?
EDIT: Never mind I found out the last question on my own.
