I hate beta's II

Well, because my previous topic was closed, i say what i have to say here.

Thanks for insulting me, but i was angry at the moment. I therefor apologize.

The problem is:
I need help installing SRL 4, because the installing instructions on the topic where like 20 words, wich isn't enough. So i would like a step-by-step instruction list.

Glad you have calmed down. Remember, if you want help on these forums, keep a positive attitude, ask, and we will help you out.

As a side note, you have posted this in the wrong section. I will move the topic for you to the right one. If you are having problems installing SRL, you should post in the SRL FAQs section.

Its not difficult....

1. Erase Scar 3.11 & SRL

2. Go to www.freddy1990.com, Download Scar 3.11

3. Install Scar 3.11

4. Download SRL 4

5. Extract SRL

6. Put The SRL folder into the C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.11\includes

7. Now open that srl folder, then open the folder called place inside plugins folder.

8. Copy everthing inside that into C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.11\Plugins

The Destination in Bold may vary depeding on where ur Scar is installed.

It is strange that i didn't notice the installation guide in the FAQ...
Maybe you could put a link to it in the topic "Download SRL 4 beta", for those who came to the forums 2 days ago and don't know anything about them.

Well, i believe the reason it didn't work well was because i was using scar 3.06...
I just had bad luck to download it a few hours before 3.11 was released...

EDIT: I just noticed the site from the link on top of this post... Adn it seems i downloaded it from an outdated mirror

It was and Will be...Please keep in mind this is only beta, once the Current version is released, it will be just as simple for the New Beginners as it was before....

Also, people seem to be a bit ungrateful, that SCAR and SRL is released for free, and get irritated when they have to do some work on their end...I could understand, if they actually had to pay for it ;)

I agree 100%, Ruler ur from NeXuS?

If so i had nexus pro, it didnt work on my vista no 1 helped me plus the site didnt work at my other house, i was very disapointed. I like SRL more, as it has more friendly staff.
