I find that lag happens the most when the adverts at the top of the RS screen change it will lag. Solution is use Firefox with Adblock Add-ons Or use SCSS :D

Adblock add-on is great. I love never seeing ads. Just another reason to get Mozilla (which seems to run faster than IE anyway)

Turn off all the programs you're not using like msn or aim. Don't listen to music and use firefox :)

mozilla.exe is of course better and safer browser than IE. i hear music to when my script is working, and script works fine.

Usually, following script instructions is the most important thing. Especially when the script tells you to start somewhere but also allows you to enter character information. Make sure to enter the character info and let the script log in for you. Usually that allows the script to not lag and work fully for me. Hope that helped. Good luck!
