Maybe, Firefox has downloadable add-ons to block jagex adds, witch make it less laggy

really i use firefox and i tried autoing through the night with a script that usually works through the night but i woke up and it wasnt working
EDIT:i will try getting the add-on to gets rid of the pop-ups thx :P
From what I have been able to tell, the Runescape downloaded client is a customized version of Windows IE. Which I have not had any problems with their client or IE.

Firefox is thy best.
Get the following..
Fasterfox (http://fasterfox.mozdev.org/)
Make Firefox ULTRA fast :D. Faster than IE rubbish.
Adblock Plus (http://adblockplus.org/en/)
Blocks ad's :D
IE Tab (http://ietab.mozdev.org/)
Gives you IE Tab incase a site doesn't work with Firefox.

Also disabling java script and automatic image download on firefox options do the same. In fact i like to browse forums with these option off. :D

I like to use the developer version of chrome, its app store is almost bigger than the extensions listed for firefox. Also I find it to be a lot faster than firefox with fasterfox, but please note this is only true in environments where resources are not an issue.
