View Full Version : Problem With Scripts, in General

I wish I didn't have to resort to creating a post over this, but, whenever I try and use Search for the answers, it won't allow me to view the results.
I am extremely new to Scar and SLR. I wondered upon it last night. I know the basics of scripting, but what I've learned is nothing like this.
I'm interested in learning how to write scripts in the future, but right now, I'm just trying to get scripts to WORK. I downloaded pwnaz0r's PowerChopper last night. It seems to work for the most part. It successfully takes over the screen and does its magic in the RS window. BUT, after the beginning procedures are completed, and it starts randomly pointing to trees around the area, it fails to click. The red X that would normally show up does not appear, which tells me that whatever part of the script controls Left Click is either corrupt or not responding.
Either that, or I haven't done something right, being the n00b that I am. I didn't want to irritate anyone by asking, but now, it seems that I have no choice.
Can anyone help me out?

The color probably isn't too good. Did you set it manually or was the color already set? If you set it manually, try to get a more common color of the type of tree you're cutting. Also don't forget to set the brightness on max when autoing.

Yea, I have the colors set to 32 bit, and the brightness as high as it wil go.
Also, what does UnSigned Client refer to?
Still dont know what that means. *_*

I mean the colors in the script. The colors that seperate one tree from another. Did you manually set those (by dragging the little color picker from Scar and then pasting) or were the colors already there? If you didn't do anything, look for the colors of trees in the script. You could try changing them.
EDIT: and Unsigned Client..Hmm the first thing that pops into my head is using 'Unsigned' Java when loading runescape (on the bottom of the High Detail/Low Detail screen.). But I'm not sure.

Try using a different script. Yeah, when the color isn't already set it's very hard to find a good one. Try to find a script that has autocolor (color is already picked) . There are some great ones in the Jr. Member section, so I would suggest to stick around, make some useful posts, and then you'll have access to some pretty good ones.
EDIT: Probably won't help but did you set the crosshair from Scar onto the runescape screen?

Yokosho,
1)Don't hijack threads, make your own.
2) Do not say 'My Power Fighter' when it wasn't made by you
3) If the script you are having a problem with isn't made by you, do not post a seperate thread, post it in the creator's thread
4) I think that script is outdated?
