Suggestion

Not a question but rather a suggestion. But want i think you should do is make scar backwards compatible from now so that the versions to come do not need to the latest version to work. Aswel as standardizing things a bit so that people that script for this will all be using the same srl versions and the same scar version, which wouldnt even matter much when you make it backwards compatible. I think that this will make things much simpler, easier and overall work a whole lot better. Anyways that my idea, I think I got it all in there. But if i didn't swing on over to this thread and update it if I left anything out.

I don't really understand your suggestion. From what I get you're saying is to just make one Scar and one Srl that everybody should use? Well, if that's what you mean, it wouldn't work. As runescape gets updated, you sometimes need to update Scar and/or Srl. So say somebody makes a script before that certain update, and didn't want to update the script after the update to work with the new versions of srl/scar. That's why there are a few scripts that use different kinds of versions, some are outdated and don't work. Some work but don't have extra features. Sorry if I misunderstood your suggestion :p


Well I don't want to delete what I wrote but now I re-read and I think I understand what you mean. Making older scripts work won't do anything. They aren't up-to-date, so many things have changed (colors, landscapes, buildings etc). Even if you could run them they would have too many bugs making them useless.
