need help!! (Installing SRL)

right i'm a noob :P, i cant get any scripts i have found to work :(. so really all u do is copy and paste the script into scar and then drag the cross hair button over the screen and then push play right?

Well it doesn't work! :(
my m8 told me to go into file and then download srl or summit like tht. Done tht but still none of the scripts work!! :( he even made me a video showing me what to do :P i did that and it still didn't work rofl.

What am i doing wrong here? is it the scirpts? do i need to change em slightly? or is it just me?

1. First of all you need scar 3.12c wich is found here (http://www.freddy1990.com/scar.php).

2. after that you go here (http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17929)to install subversion

3. finaly you go here (http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17890) and instal srl

then you download any script and use it!

Alot of scripts you find on this site wont work, so even if you have the newest srl and scar, some of the old scripts still wont work. (However they make good references). Try and get scripts that are for srl 4 and scar 3.12. it normally sais so in the release info
