Hi,
I just read a few tuts and started scripting my own fallymelter/banker. To walk from bank to the furnace ( and back ) I used 'Findcolortolerance'. The first time i tried the script it worked great, but the second time I tried it ( after re-logging in ) it didn't. When I checked what was wrong I noticed the road and some other color from the minimap change everytime I login.

Is there anything to do so the colors of the minimap don't change ( already tried low detail ).

Btw I already read the mapwalking tut, but that is very complicated for me ( Dutch ) to understand so I was hoping not to use those difficult DTM's :P

Use radialwalk...

For road colors you acn use FindRoadColor; functions (different ones depending on where you are) and for everything else you either have to use autocolor or a tolerance...

indeed, the colors from runescape change while you're playing. we can't do anything against it.

like mat de b said,, there findroadcolor function to find the road color.

on you're 'Findcolortolerance' an explain:
the Tolerance, means that it will add a tolerance to the color where you're looking for. incase that the color is chaged scar will still find the color. use a tol like 10.

edit: @mat you're siggy is dead :o

Thanks for the explanation but i guess this doens't work in my case? Because sometimes the road color like 6xxxxxxxx and sometimes 7xxxxxxx.

AutoColor / Tolerance or like others said, use a function that pics the color everytime using another one, which actually is autocolor.

Also, if you wanna do it easier way you can use ScarScape, though that isnt so much challenge.

ScarScape is a modified runescape client that has static colors, static symbol positions and the minimap angle is also static unless you rotate it (RS shifts a lil every couple ten minutes or so).

Thanks, im gonna use Scarscape fow now because im just a beginner with scripting. When i have improved my scripting skills i will try to rewrite my scipt with function like autocolor so i will also work on the normal RuneScape.

You dont always have to use AutoColor, you can use Tolerance isntead, for example FindColorTolerance(X, Y, Color, x1, y1, x2, y2, 10) would try to find the color, if not exactly, in range of 10 from it.

But yes, ScarScape is pretty nice for beginners..
