I am thinking about getting a Virtual Machine so that I can surf the net while autoing. What would some "requirements" be, and what can a Virtual Machine do?
Some requirements I am looking for is, how much ram should I have, how much drive space should I have, can I have the VM on a separate drive, etc. stuff like that.
I will just post what I (think) my computer has:
511.5 MB Ram.
2.1 GB Free Space On C Drive (I also have an almost empty D Drive).
Normally use around 80% CPU on my user logon.
Anything else that I should add for you to evaluate to see whether I should get one? Remember, I can install it onto D Drive if it lets me. Although, I don't know whether scar and the VM can work in unison then... :p
Thanks.

im not quite sure, because i have a lot of free space, but you should be able to run it fine...
the VM that I run is currently using around 800mb i think just from java, scar, winrar, svn...
if you dont get unnecessary extras for the VM, then you should be okay, I would say to devote 1gb max to the VM just incase im a lil off on my guess for how much memory im using lol...
if all else fails and it isnt working...theres an uninstall button :p
hope this helps ;)

True. :p
If I installed it onto D Drive (If I can), can it still work in sync with Scar?
I heard VM's have A Silent Mouse like scar or something. But I don't get that...? I mean, I am guessing that it does it for you, but won't it get you banned liek scars silent mouse?

Well you might have a bit of trouble with just 511 ram. VMs usually need 200+ and your host may not really run with that. And VM is like a another OS. You have to install everything there. [I think that] You can't use programs already on your host. You'll have to reinstall them. The silent mouse like thing is safe, many people have been using it for a while and I have for about 2 weeks, nothing bad yet.

Alright. That's good about the mouse.
So I have to install the java and scar stuff for the vm? I can't use them while using them on the VM? Why not? Why do I have to re-install?

listen to the man its another machine. virtually its not your pc. and unless you got a good processor you wont be able to play another runescape while autoing on the vm. and yes you can install the vm on a separate drive. i have 1 gb of ddr400 memory and a p4 3.0ghz HT, im sad to say its taking 80+ of my processor on low def. this is after i gave it more ram and another piece of my processor.

I don't think I had to install Java again, unless it did install without me knowing. But I had to install Scar and download all the scripts. And like Man Slaughter said, your Virtual Machine is like an extra computer. Think of it as if you had just bought a new computer and places it right next to your other one.

Alright. Thanks guys.
I have successfully download and installed the VM. Thankyou for all your help, and a special thanks to lolpie for the tut!
The only thing I have problems with is, how do I install the VMTools thing. I right clicked and pressed install while I was on my desktop, and now it does nothing and when I right click again it comes up with cancel, and I don't think I want to do that. What is the matter?

I'm not sure with VMware, but with Virtual PC I had to do this (because TinyXP has it disabled) - Go to My Computer after clicking Install VMtools, look at the CD/DVD drive or something like that, it should say something about VMtools. Click on it, and install.

Yeh. I did that yesterday (once again, before I saw your post :p) and it came up with that, then it went through it etc. and said I had to restart, which I did.
It now comes up with a thing in the VMs Taskbar. But whenever I right click on it now, it comes up with install again for some reason, even though it's in the taskbar.
