Hello, i've been using this method from the last 5 days , and it's working fine

You need to be a member for this to work
and u need atleast 1.55 Mill (+20K)

go to world 2, near the big bank, say buying 1k Green dragonhides (1550 - 1600 ea), some one will sell you probably in couple of mins

then go to alkharid and Tan them to green dragon leather
it takes only 30 mins to tan 1k cuz bank is really near to tanning guy

then sell the leather at 1800 ea on forums

I easily tan 2k hides in 1 hour

so i can basically make 400k per/hour

Sorry if this has been posted before

any negative:( /positive:) feedback will be appreciated :f:

Pretty good, but you make 200k win :p

1800-1600 = 200

but hes doing 2k... so its not bad maths....

doesnt sound like a bad idea except you can buy dhides for like 1.2k each and then tan em and sell them on...

If you want a f2p the same thing, just buy cowhides 100 each, forums soft and hard leather go for around 250 each

very good tip, a little downside is that you gain no xp at al.
I usually kill banshees because they drop almost every time herbs (4 of 27 drops prolly rannars) or drop noted p ess.

if u keep every herb, even the guams, you'll get about 4 rannars and 250 p ess

I allready used this method of making money. It does make a lot of money but now im not member anymore. You could also kill chaos druid in Taverly Dungeon. They also drop a lot of herbs. They dont do lots of damage and are dead really quick. Its not a long distance from Falador bank and you dont need to take special equipment.

Good luck!

this would still be a great way to make money if the grand exchange wouldnt have messed up that method, still, maybe other hides might be possible

Still works with the GE. To get maximum speed use a skills necklace to teleport to crafting guild, run upstairs and use a dueling ring to get back to castle wars bank.

repeat.

Don't you need a certain crafting level to do this?

Heh yeah its an amazing way to do it, I have a private script to do this for me... but I scripted it on Nexus. Havent used it in a while, not sure if it still works... but I've made a total of 21M profit tanning and selling hides :)

This method I have done before. It works great! I would recommend doing 5k hides though, more people sell in higher quantities.

drum4crimson
12-21-2008, 12:54 AM
okay how are you guys making 21m doing this?? last time I checked grand exchange the tanned hides were selling fo 200gp less! Even if you didnt get the hides from grandexchange like everyone says they did, and let's say you got them from killing dragons. wouldn't you make more money selling dragon bones then tanned hides?
