This is a tutorial for those using dial-up with Microsoft virtual machines 2007 and can't get it to share the connection.
First thing you should know the basics of VMs and have it already installed on your computer. As well have a dial-up connection already setup as well.
1. Go to control panel and switch it to "Classic View."

Click next until it finishes and the window closes.
Next step is setting up VM and the Dial-up to actually connect.
8. First thing is to get into the connection area, there is various ways to get there. Fastest would be Start > Connect to > Show all connections
9. See what your Loopback adapter name is called:

10. While still there select your dial-up > right click and choose properties. Click the advance tab, it should now look something like this:

11. Now check the "Allow others on network to connect on here..." and select your Loopback's name. I suggest not allowing it to connect if others on network ask for a connection.

12. Final step. In the VM settings select networking and scroll down the list and select Loopback adapter like so:

And click ok.
Thats it your set! You might have to reset VM for it to work, not 100% sure on that.
