any recomendations when running scar so comp doesn't uber lag? like swift shift or mozilla or internet browser

my laptop completely sucked as well, so i went to pc and it still logged out, and can i trust the log back in thing im new to that. 2.13 here and oddy's fighter type of guy myself

If you lag when you run scar, you can either:

downgrade your current os: Vista -> XP ; XP -> TinyXp Beast Edition, if those don't work, downgrade to Win98 (I think scar works with window's 98, not sure about subversion).

Increase ram (you have to buy this at a store), or if you have shared memory with your video card, on system startup, allow the video card the least amount of ram. That is, if you don't play any games that need it.

& Yes, you can trust "that log in thing", as long as its part of srl. Don't connect to strange sites either just to be safe, ex

thanks man.. my motherboard can only hold 512 and i have 392mb of ram.. ill look into another 256 card.. and ill do the vid card thing

java script you should have the latest JRE from www.sun.com, nothing is wrong with your OS its just your computer 392 is not a good amount to run scar since scar is much of a resource hog

turn of the autoupdate, it takes up system resources, you can manually check for updates now and then

well it might help some, go to start> run >then type msconfig> go to startup tab >uncheck all processes you don't want to start up.
