help!?(really confused in how to use scar)

Well, first of all you need to download Scar from here - http://www.freddy1990.com/scar.php

Then, you need to set up SRL using this guide - http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17869?t=19563

After you have that, I suggest you download some scripts and learn how to use them. There are some good scripts in the Free For All section, but if you become a Jr. Member you have access to much better ones.

After you know how to use scripts, you may want to start learning how to make them (that's where all the fun is I hear...:)).

dont feel like an idiot...we were all there once....staring blankly at SCAR with a little drool coming down the side of our mouths...

My advice:
The search button is your friend. Less people will think you're a noob if you just search for something instead of posting a thread about it. With all the threads on this site your problem has probably been solved maybe a hundred times. Don't worry, you get this one free.

My advice:

People have been scripting for years and even the pro's make mistakes...NO ONE IS GOD... read a lot of scripts and compare them to the manual...http://www.srl-forums.com/forum/Manual.php?

...even if you don't compile a script for a week or two, being able to read thru one and identifying what is what (and more importantly, what is bs ) then you will be ready to write some really good script, and also have high enough membership to have access to good script and not the basics that are not much good to use.
