[VIDEO TUT] How to download and install SRL for SCAR Divi with Subversion

This is a video guide that I put together in 20 minutes of my spare time, it is meant for those who are very new to the idea of SRL and how to get it (the subversion way etc).

It should be quite easy to understand, any feedback is appreciated (just so long as its constructive). The size is around 7mb, it may take some time to load if you have slow internet.

Dotted URL won't work... Give us the full URL.

Your url is /...car_etc
should be /whatev_scar_etc

When I saw the options box with Subversion Repository faded out, I realized that was what my VM's SCAR looks like. For the longest time I thought my VM was just screwy because it wouldn't update the SRL files. Now I realize I just forgot to install Subversion on the VM too. Thanks.

i did everything the video said, helped alot, but when i click yes to down load i get this message....couldn't move the pulgins from srl folder to the pulgins folder... i dont know how to fix this but help woould be awsome!!! other wise i think this tut helped alot!!

I t looks as if you will have to manually move the plugins to the plugins forlder, there are some posts on this in this forum. (SRL Subversion Repository Installation and Help)

I'm guessing ur using Vista. A easy fix to ur problem could be to run scar as an admin ( right-click, run as admin...). It worked for me so It'll probably work for u to. Glad to be helping.(h)

Nice video but can u make 1 for smart, but please use an example from a ascript like forefeathers and how to use smart with that script, what to type in the sript to get it working with smart etc......
