No Scripts Ever Work!

title says it all... every script i try, and i make, always freeze when i click play... i have moved the crosshairs over and click play but it always freezes so that i cant click on the scar window and bring it back up... i have the latest scar and i think i have srl (is it the thing with the black window which dwonwloads all the srl files?)

can someone please help?

Well if thats the case, then your title is incorrect it should be "SCAR doesn't work" since when you push play it freezes. I'm guessing its a conflicting application of some sorts, or SCAR itself.

Couple things to try:
uninstall then reinstall SCAR
check your firewall/anti virus program(s)
close any programs not needed while trying to run

also what operating system you running?

usually on runescape maybe some other online games which arent mmorpgs

make sure that you update scar when you isntall it, then goto tools options and srl downloads, select subversion repository (make sure the srl is installed properly) Good luck..

i tried that and it still comes up with a window saying allow this file and 5 options...

Tools -> Options (very bottom) -> Firewall settings -> Allow all AND Filewall settings -> allow all.

just read through the script and check to make sure its not anything bad. Read a few of the scripting tutorials here and that will be easy peasy :P

You using scar 3.12 or 3.13? you need to be using scar 3.12

Make sure your using 3.12 cause most scripts I have tried with 3.13 dont work, on that does is forefeathers (a chicken killer). So just try using 3.12 and that should help.:D

Rora...don't get to frustrated. 3.13 was a upgrade from
3.12 (a,b,c,d, then e).
It seems they go on and on and on without updating the old "includes' or the new "core' scripts.

What 5 options are you constantly getting? I noticed no one addressed the actual problem you are having...just recommended disabling firewall-A DISASTER waiting to happen if you do, and reinstalling or downloading something again.

incase u havent if u know it freezes then open task manager ==> rightclick firefox.exe OR iexplorer.exe ==>set priority => above norm or high dont use realtime

i have the same error that Rora have and i have not try it yet but i think is the new version because i know how to set up the scripts, but i'm using the SCAR 3.13 so may be that is my problem too and i have not test it yet
