If you have an ATI Radeon card installed, you can get Half-Life 2 Deathmatch and Lost Coast for free here: http://www.steampowered.com/ati_offer1a/

Well, it's a campaign by ATI, so I assume that ATI is paying valve for it, i already had them already though, and atm I don't have a pc with an ati card anyway :p

Don't you still need the regular Half Life 2 Game before you can use the extensions?

This is something that ATI would do to try to get more people to buy their worthless garbage, I'd rather shell out all the money in the world then put one of those cards into my PC to get a free steam game.

nVidia FTW.

Really? I've been using ATI for years ever since my first nVidia card for the desktop had really crappy drivers. Thanks for the link Freddy.

Oh? I didn't like the fact that the ATI card I used to have (Radeon 9550)
would constantly overheat and would have an extremely high temperature compared to my overclocked GeForce 7600 GS, and by default has higher GPU specs then the Radeon 9550. ;)

I have a GeForce EN7600GS Silent 512mb and I think it sucks, them crappy nvidia drivers crash my pc 3 times a day, I've never had any problems back when I had ATI cards, so imo ATI doesn't suck at all, nvidia is highly overrated

o__O The only problem I have ever had with nVidia drivers was that once in a while my FPS in certain steam games drops from 300-400 to 50-60, but thats only once in a while, but not once has the drivers ever caused my PC to crash, only a blue screen once when I was clocking the GPU too high.

I must assume you mean free and leagal. It's an important differentiation.

For free and questionally leagal check this (http://cs.rin.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t=37583) out.

It works, and yes... it is truly awesome.
