Hey I was trying to download a scar script off this web site and it put a keylogger on my computer how do i get this off please help me i really dont wanna lose my Rs account.:duh:

Well, there are two scar keyloggers, and they clearly say they are keyloggers, and they will never send anything to anyone.

meh, it might think scar itself is a keylogger? it uses hotkeys and stuff...

Are you using avg? because avg detects scar as a virus. so fix that :D

no actually i dint want to wait to be a junior member to get fletching script so i tryed and download form here http://www.scar-scripts.com/view/1118

I then went to rapid share and downloaded it and there was this install button and so i clicked on it nothing happend and i deleated it

can anyone out there help me is there some program i can use? I really want to make sure there is no keylogger because when i got to start alll programs i see this thing called Anthmaxs Keylogger or something like that i drag it to my desktop and deleate then empty my recycle bin then when i restart its there again Please i know you guys must know something to help me

Ok, here's the Ground Rules of cheating with SCAR, which is currently the greatest cheat available for RuneScape:

1) You should ONLY download scripts from this site (www.srl-forums.com) or Freddy1990.com (Though there aren't so many).

2) Do ONLY download scripts in .scar or .txt format. Those are the only formats SCAR can read, and you will find NO scripts here in other formats than the above two.

3) SRL does not like leechers. Leechers are people who come here to SRL-forums, go download all the great scripts and then leave. You can use scripts without being a leechers the following ways:
A) ALWAYS (Or almost always) post progress reports.
B) Leave a post in the thread of the script, saying what could be better, if anything could be better.
C) Contributing to this community by publishing scripts and/or helping other people.

Those are the general and overall rules of SRL, but of course that are many more, of which you can about other places. Enjoy your stay on the SRL-forums.

Until you find out how to get rid of it, get Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/) if you don't have it, then get KeyScrambler (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3383). It's an add-on for Firefox that encrypts your keystrokes. You could prevent it from seeing what you type, but you should still get rid of the keylogger asap.

jst run ur AV and see what gets picked up... most things that get hosted on raipdshare that have keylogers and shit ion them are quite old anyways and shouldn't slip past the AV filter

Okay well you just triple posted probably trying to cheat your way into junior member status because they all where within 4 minutes. I highly doubt you actually got a keylogger. If you did just restart your computer in safe mod and play rs till you find a real solution.
