NOTE: Problem solved by Hy71194. Thanks!

Prior to installing a new Java version, I could play runescape unsigned perfectly. After installing the new Java version, RS redirects me to this page when I try to load the login screen:

Error_game_js5connect - Unable to connect to update server.
Runescape was unable to connect to the update server. This is most likely caused by a firewall blocking the connection. To resolve this:

# If you have firewall or security software installed please ensure RuneScape/Java is allowed to open outgoing network connections on ports 43594.

# Note Windows XP Service Pack 2 has built in firewall software. If when loading RuneScape this asks if you want to allow the connection, you need to say 'yes'.

# If that doesn't help then an external firewall may be causing the problem. Please ask your network adminstrator/ISP to open port 43594 for TCP traffic.

If problems persist then please refer to our technical FAQ which can be found in the FAQ section of our website.

I can still play the signed version perfectly, but it gives me a higher chance of IP ban (or so I've been told, it's a long story). Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.:(

Just play on signed, and erase the random.dat a lot.

Thanks. One last question: Where is random.dat?

C:\WINDOWS\.jagex_cache_32

Thanks. I'll erase it regularly, or I'll make a program to do it for me.

I delete the whole folder.

I think if you try searching "UID Deleter " and "Random deleter" you find someone's .bat that deletes it...
