hmmm...

id get her a good kiss :D LOL jk

in all seriousness, you should know what she likes after 5-6 months.

if you really dont know then a good rose or card with candies is enough to make a girl's heart a flutter.

(some may act like they dont care, but they will think about it.... trust me.)

noobs are ppl 2
12-09-2007, 08:42 AM
well i think you should get her like some purfume from hollister (i love how they smell) and like a dogtag that has your names ingraved in it always gets the girls ;)

should cost you what like 30-50 bucks depending on the purfume

oh and tell her you love her if she dosent like her and make out so she cant complain

Fake diamond.

Hellz no.

Mymms.com thing was ok. I"ll look into it more

Perfume thing seems ok. But I don't know what perfume she likes.

Don't need a rose to make "her heart flutter". Already sweet enough. Maybe i'll do the card though.

Thanks.

Plan a whole evening that you pay for. An idea could be:

Start out with a good restaurant. Have some good food.
Go to the movies, watch something she could like, probably something with romance; Action would kill the evening.
Then, you end the day by doing something she likes. I don't know what that could be.

That's all I can give you of ideas. A relationship that has lasted for six months isn't really covered by any gift I can think of.

Good luck :p :D

definately get her heels, perfume, or flowers... personally i would go with the perfume...

LordGregGreg
12-10-2007, 01:18 AM
buy her a silver ring (make sure she is not TOO alergic to silver,.. if she is.. make it pewter , or stainless steel, or titanium, they are all cheap metals) and have it engraved with something sweet.

deepending on where you are in your relationship (6 months means nothing) and depending on what you have engraved, it may be too much... so be carefull with it.

12-10-2007, 01:24 AM
perfume or card/flowers probably your best bet. Also depends on age...
Cheap ring is prob a good idea aswel (just remember to take the price tag of, or photoshop it ;))

Edit: Take her to the mall and buy her some cloths ;)
or write her a scar script :p

Guys, Here is a girl. She's actually one of the few girls we have here, so her opinion would mean something in a case like this.

Anyways, the first thing that popped into my mind was a trip to one of those massage parlors. (With the oil and the lotion and stuff... Sorry, I don't know too much about them... Just an idea...)

Oh, and how old are you two?

Jackrawl

Firstly, Here creeps me out, and she is the last person I would ask if I were skepsis - she also answered 'Fake diamond.'

Secondly, how can you be allergic to silver? Is this possible? Does this mean that you are a vampire if you are? Is blood delicious?

that made me lol ^

Well, it would definitely help if we knew your ages...

I know for me and my gf's one year anniversary I had her get dressed up, and while she was getting ready I prepared a romantic dinner outside by our pool. I had candles and love music playing for her as well. She loved it ;)

In my opinion, simplicity is the best way to go...
Just do something sweet and tell her how you feel. It doesnt have to be anything too expensive, or even a "gift" at all. Most of all just let it be fun and enjoyable.

Hope that helps ;)

Here can be a bit... Scary... If you will, but she knows what she's talking about when she says "fake diamond." She's means Cubic Zirconia. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cubic_zirconia) Looks like a diamond, but isn't, and is less expensive. Still pretty though.

And sterling silver can sometimes turn your skin green.

LordGregGreg
12-10-2007, 02:25 AM
it has been argued that certian manufacturing techniques of cubic zirconia can look even BETTER than a real diamond. Just don't get a big one were it is obviously fake.

And here is only scary when she wants/needs to be :P

And yes, silver corodes with oxygen and skin oils, depending on the tpye oof skin oil you have, it can leave nasty green marks on you, or make your skin really itch.

(doesnt do anyhting to me)

I was kidding. Fake diamonds can be obtained for cheap though. And if you're cheaper, get a pearl. They go for $8-10 nowadays. But jewelry's not my thing, so you might want to check with your girlfriend before (subtly).

For simplicity's sake, give her a nicely written card. Keyword: "nicely". As in, not atrocious.

To lolpie, I've found those things quite scamful. Name a star? For what? So it can be forgotten in a few months? It's like buying a piece of the sun. Who owns the goddamn names?

And to Jack, you must have some talent for overlooking details. Check who edited my post on that one.

OK knives has the best idea here, p.s. the dogtag idea is retarded!!!, anyways even if you are not old you can still have a very good time at a restaurant, a restaurrant is not Burger King!!!!, and the movie would set things off well!!, then depending on the relationship, and the readyness of each other, the night can end severals ways!!:sasmokin:

Here, you should also know I was teasing, you even went out and complained about him editing your post.

Also, most girls are more interested in being able to brag about a guy liking them. They just want some expensive item or something to show that the guy put forth some effort.

Hmm, I (for once) agree with Jack that many girls like to have their menfolk brag about them. But it works the other way around too.

And if you were teasing, ok. Do we shake virtual hands over the Communist thread? It's just that I've known many a person to hold a grudge. And as I told oliver, it would be nice if you opened up your mind. Ignorance (especially willful ignorance) helps nobody. But this isn't a politics forum, so I hold no grudge either.

To Jason - there's nothing in the rules that prohibits girls from saying goddamn. Is it my first time though?

And to LordGreg: Thanks anyways. But as you've seen in my other threads, I rarely need backing. It's nice though. And you want to start the script? I'm all set, the play is over.

I mean, who can resist a well made pdf document?

And yes, Here now it's time to get down to business, but bear with me, i just deleted vista off my computer and put a fancy distribution of XP back on... and realized that all my drivers are gone...

then ill deepfreeze this mother and be ready to roll.

I never said there was anything bad about you saying it. (It's taking God's name in vain no matter which sex says it, but that's not the point.) I've just never heard you say anything like that like before. Wasn't casting my judgment, and wasn't being sexist.

From my experience with women, the best way to not be in this situation is just that. Not allow yourself to be in this situation.

However, since you feel the need for some simple compassion (Why couldn't you have bought a dog?) I'll give you my expert advice.

Women are not bought by flashy things and things with expensive taste. Women who are attracted to this, will leave you broken hearted and will always leave you for the next best thing. Get your girl something that is cheap, from the heart and would have great sentimental value.

Make her a handwritten card and take her out for a VERY nice night out.

You do however, realize that you're asking for advice from people who may or may not have ever had a girlfriend in their life. Right?

Skepsis
12-10-2007, 07:13 PM
Haha. I know. Thats why I'm in a pretty bad situation. Don't know what happened with the random posts. Think star idea is good. But. I'm young. Highschool.
I think ring is a little over.
And question about perfume. How the Hell do i get it. and what kind. perfume seems really weird.

we (the 'Krawls') only know what people have told us, and we probably shouldn't have said anything in the thread to begin with...plus it was a very aggressive argument. In a few years we'll say something educated XD.

Skepsis, you don't have to buy* anything, and you'd probably get dumped if you did the name a star idea. Buy something that is popular for girls. (ex. A new purse)
Also, I'd say that the line 'I can't wait to see what so-and-so buys me!' is NOT running through her head, but a line that probably means 'What if he doesn't remember, what if he forgets?' meaning she isn't asking for some little material, just something to remember you by.

A ring is always 100% over the top. I have VERY bad experiences with rings. Like spending 2 grand on an engagement ring when I'm off serving my country (U.S Military) and her starting to date someone else. It's not something I wanted to experience first hand, but it is something that I have experienced.

To be honest, just taking her out to dinner and a movie would be best. Since it's high school I don't think your relationship is going to last too long to be quite honest. Not to sound like a complete asshole but it's the sad sad truth. I've been through high school relationships many a time to understand they don't work.

Save yourself time and money, break up with her and become a player. Not only will you get laid you won't have to deal with the emotional baggage of a breakup.

12-10-2007, 09:35 PM
You could get her something dealing with beauty products, or perfume of that sorts. Then follow it up with roses, and a dinner. Basically, a nicely planned night would be it.

Or, you could do what I've done in the past, and say I didn't get them anything, and that I "forgot". Then, at the end of the night, give them their gift. :P Works almost every time.

Or you could... :stirthepot: :google:

Yea, after 6 months you don't know what she likes...Thats not too good. Anyways what I would do (since I don't know what she is in to I can't think of a gift for you but), I would just give her a really nice care-free day. If you guys are old give her somethin' in bed. If you are yonger students like most of us are, help her with her homework er something. Idk just make her feal happy.
