RS Proxys?

Does anyone know where I can find a proxy that still runs java so I can play at school. I need something to do in the 2 hours im in my programming class because we really do not do anything in here.

dude there are none, thats the one thing that proxys try not to allow is java, so i mean like we should try hosting a proxie and have it set up for rs unblock, idk but so far i have not found one that will alow javascript..... anyone agree with me?

RS checks if there's www.runescape.com as the URL I think... So proxy sites won't work.. And your school blocks the www.runescape.com URL.. So not much you can do.. Other than disable the firewall of course.

Ya proxies wont work. The only thing you can do is disable the firewall but doubt you can do that unless you have administrator on the computer, which i also doubt since you are in school.

well, thats not really possible because our website blockers are network based. I believe we got it to work last year using a proxy server through fire fox, but the proxy server shut down, and I cant find any addresses to work.
(btw if you download fire fox onto your school computer, click tools, options, network, and then go to settings, you can add a proxy there. The problem is finding a server that works.)

have we tryed a ip proxy program? ill show you in a bit the program if you want to try it, its got list of proxys that we could use for firefox, or just use the program and try it that way....

I have the same problem too. I have a wonderful proxy that can do anything except its only for ie and it doesn't bypass the java firewall they have =

Interesting thread... there are ways to access RS behinda firewall.

In china, internet access in censored. People have desinged programs to allow others in china to access an uncensored web. Guess what? These same programs work for RS.
