Maybe a problem?

:::\The Solution/:::

Dracomancer's idea is simple, effective, and huge - give the power to fight autoers to the people of Runescape.

Here's how it works:

A new spell, next to Home Teleport, called "Detect Autoer"
The spell would take no runes, and no magic level, like home teleport. Unlike home teleport, it could be cast at any time.
The spell would target a player you suspect of Auto***. We've all seen them. People where we go "I bet they're Autoing..." But are helpless to do anything about.

- Effect -

The spell would cause a vibrant, swirling, sparkling, purple cloud above the player. Very obvious. It would also make odd, unique sounds. This would alert the player that it had been cast on them. A button would also appear in the top corner near the MiniMap. To remove the cloud, the player would have to click the button, which would display a number written in odd font, and in a specific color. The player would then have to type in either the number, or the color, and hit enter.
Doing so correctly would cause the cloud to disappear, and the player would be immune to the spell for the next 10 minutes. Typing the wrong answer would reset the button, to be pushed again.
If the correct answer is not entered in 3 minutes, the player will be teleported to lumbridge, logged out, and be unable to log in for 20 minutes.

Most importantly, every time a palyer fails to remove the spell, getting sent to Lumby and logged off for 20 minutes, Jagex would be sent info on it, so they could see who constantly fails the spell, allowing them to spot Autoers.

Posted by some dude, visit the thread quick find link to find out, sad that the players come up with a better solution than the designers, but could be bad, because if I were working at Jagex, I would alter this solution a little and use it..

Just felt like posting it.
It would probably be abused to be annoying, maybe one use per 15 minutes, a player or something, possibly solvable, but pretty hard I'd guess..

that would probably work well and all we would have to do is update our scripts

This is completely stupid. People will use this in the wild to get kills, people will bug others with this as 10 minutes isn't a long time limit. This will just be plain annoying. And autoers are now all but dead anyway.

well in the wild they'd have to set some anit attack thing or in general just to make it fair for those not autoing IF they were to do it
