My Computer Shuts Down. Help!!!

Hello and thanks for visiting the thread, i got some serious problems with my computer, keep on reading.

Sometimes when i leave my comp to auto for the night or the day, there is a chance for it to shut down and restart it self. I dont know why this happens, i put it on the night, i sleep, i wake up, i check my comp, it has restarted it self and just shows my desktop.

Also it sais something like this:
Your computer has found a serious error.

Please help!

Are you running Windows? What does the event viewer say happened?

Most likely caused by over-heating. Try cleaning inside your computer/tower.

Few things
1. Windows automatic shit updates, that restart the computer
2. Overheating, try Speedfan or MBM to see your temperatures while idling and while stressing.
3. Maybe someone is messing with the electricity?

No one is messing around with the electricity, i dont have any problems while gaming, iam using Windows Microsoft XP.

I guess maybe its the heating, i havent cleaned my comp for a while, i will clean it now and then i will check back.

I agree, heating can do that to your computer. Check your connections too.

check the system log in the event viewer. It will likely give you a code as to why "the previous shutdown was unexpected" (check all the messages around that time). Post the code here. WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) knows the temperature of your computer, so we can easily check that.
