Electronics help

Oh man. I don't know jack about electronics and I am trying to build a RC car. I have the motor, battery, chassis but I cannot find where you can buy just the board that will control the motor.


If anyone is good with electronics will they please add me on MSN? I really need some help here as I feel like I am chasing my own tail.

Oh, RC Cars. My dog would probably like one of those for Christmas...

By "board that will control the motor," you mean the printed circuit board? They're rather... Specific. You'd have to find that one, or make your own sort of circuit board.

Ohh! You mean the thing that gets the signal from the Remote Control?

Yeah... Buy a new RC car, or read online about it. I'm sure it can be done, it's just, I'm sure it'd be pretty hard to do.

Your making a REAL RC car right?

You need to get a radio transmitter with controller (should come with crystals). A speed controller for the motor. Also if its a kit don't forget a Servo for the steering.

Making a real RC car isn't that hard. Its almost like putting a computer together in complexity wise.
