I dropped my iPod in the shitter

Yes, I dropped it in the shitter, good thing the water wasn't dirty though. I left it out to dry for a day, and now when I plug it in, it says "Please Wait. Very Low Battery." then shuts off. I've tried twice now and it just does the same thing.

I don't have a warranty, and I don't need a new iPod btw.

Suggestions? (Only serious ones).

happend to me too.. let it charge for 1 or 2 days, that worked for me..

and yeah just let it charge for a day or so.

if it doesnt work, you can try to take out the battery and replace it.

If letting it sit for a long time doesn't work then I'd try:

There are a lotof third-party repair services on the internet. They are much more reliable than anything you could do, and they are much cheaper than Apple. Try searching for 'ipod repair service'

I remember seeing some websites a while ago that showed how to replace your iPod's battery/screen, I forget which. Well, the first step was to remove the faceplate from the metal back. Maybe if you search for how to do that, you can just remove the back to let it air out 100%, then put it back on.
If the repair services are too much, and youre only other choice is paying hundreds of dollars, I'd give it a go.
