IS bounty hunter worth it?

Well, bounty hunting looks like it's here to stay. A couple of questions though, is it worth it? I'm thinking about making a pker for the lower level bounty hunting and I gotta know if it's worth it before I spend my money on something like this.

My pker's stats would be around

31 pray
70 ranged
70 mage
70+ Str
40 attack
55+ HP
1 def

The total brings me around the combat of 55. So I'm wondering if bounty hunting is an actual profitable thing. I don't want to waste 2 mil on a guess, I want to know. So if you all could help me out with a suggestion, let me know.

perosnally, i really dont like it. i went there a few times on my main, and got jumped but a nobbie team. if it was non- multi it would be funnier.

The multiplayer really does ruin it, but I love the idea of it.

Don't make it level 55, since the caves are level 3-50 you should make it level 50 and own everyone.

I thought it was 3-55. imho I think that bounty hunting isn't worth it unless you find yourself with a decent team. I teamed on my old pker and got a couple of kills, nothing too extravagant but out of like 8 kills I managed to get two of them.. before dieing.

It's 3-55. But if you make your guy lvl 55, you will eventually level up and become level 56, which forces you into the next crater.

Better to stay between 50-53 so you can stay there and own noobies for a while.

And I don't know if range or mage is worth it. 90% of the lone people running around will be one itemers that don't drop anything, and you will be spending cash on runes and arrows, so you probably won't make money. If you get owned by a big group of noobs, you lose all your runes and arrows too, so it's a pretty risky proposition moneywise.

The PKing part of RS is kinda the main point, your goals are tp become better than someone in order to own them.

So are you planning on F2P or P2P?
They're working on single-combat areas, you know ;D

i think itd be worth it for the fun of things...but i dont think youd make a profit off it. But its fun it just sucks when you get teamed. But Im training a pure right now in hopes of some sort of pking may return in the new year.

BH SUCKS! Well I'v only done it once with like full bronze so I can't really say that. But still I'd take the old wild over BH anyday.

Bounty Hunting could be alot better. The wild had runite ores, the mage arena and other things that made people risk their lives to go into the wild. Now people go bounty hunting for one reason killing others. So if you aren't with a team and near the highest lvl of your cave your easily killed. The old wild was so much better.
