Anybody got any help for me? I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 and every few seconds the keyboard will freeze then 2 seconds later it will have to catch up with what I'm typing. It can't be a virus as I have completely reinstalled windows. Please help.

Maybe your running too many programs at the same time... My computer does the same thing when it has lagg...
I would delete un-needed stuff off you don't use... Idk. I would also do a scan to be safe :D
Good luck,

It started happening about 4 nights ago, and I have reinstalled windows just today. I thought it might be too many programs, but I don't know why it would only start happening now

It's probably just lag. That happens to me on my Dell Dimension 4700.

It could also be a hardware problem... If you auto on you laptop the main processor could be screwed up...
If you can't figure it out in the next week take it to a computer shop and have them look at it...
Once again, good luck,

This used to happen with my mouse. What it did was it froze or it started moving around like a angry bee. I then punched my mouse to pieces and bought a new one logitech g5 or something.
Test this: Plug in another keyboard and test that. Maybe u have spilled a drink to the laptop?

So you have no idea what may have caused it?

No, other than it might be lag, I'm going to install TinyXP, that seemed to fix the problem when I had it on a Virtual Machine
