Ok, well I have a Wireless G Broadband Router (linksys)(model WRT54G). I have a laptop, 2 desktops, BlackBerry, PSP, iPod touch, and a Wii. The network is WPA-PSK (TKIP) encrypted. The laptop connects fine with its built in wireless thing, the desktop works fine with a network card thing (The other desktop is connected to a modem running Comcast Cable, and it works), the BlackBerry works fine, but the iPod, Wii, and PSP don't work. On the iPod and PSP it tells me that it could not establish a connection with the access point (even though I'm right next to it) and the Wii (which is one floor down) says it could not establish a connection.

Why is it that computers work with it but the other stuff doesn't? What kind of solutions are there that could solve this problem (if you're going to want me to change some settings keep in mind that I have Vista Home Premium, and yes, I know it sucks)?

By the way, I'd prefer not having to take the security encryption off.

What type is your router? It could be possibly that, you have to much people leaching your router and thus not saving any connectivity for your psp, ipod, wii.

What do mean by what type? I mentioned the model number, brand etc in the post.

How could they leech? It's encrypted (has a password), unless they are somehow getting in to it anyway...Come to think of it thel last time I looked at my network map there were like 10 devices that were offline which I had no idea who they were. I'll try to block them later. But I don't think that's it, since the laptop and other desktop aren't on 24/7, they go on a few hours a day but they never have problems with connectivity..

Oh, forogot to mention that a BlackBerry also works with it -.-

Duh...
I can only connect computers :D

Check these and try changing values...
*Wireless Network Mode
*Wireless Channel
*Wireless SSID Broadcast:
*WPA Algorithms:
*Be sure you don't use MAC filter.
*CTS Protection Mode
*Frame Burst
*AP Isolation
And in Applications & Gaming try changing DMZ and QoS

I think problem may be in those... just change and try, that the way how I get things working....

I got same router duh
