Simile Poem

[Xemnas]

I wrote this one last year. I had to compare myself to an inanimate object. It's not supposed to rhyme.


I am like a journal locked tight
Yearning to be opened but fearing the same fate
Somber on the outside keeping people away
But inside a medley of secrets and mysteries preside
All by my lonesome I sit
Being pushed and carried by people
Who care not about my pages
Who do not dare to open me up
And read the chronicles within
Each day another story
Another story that may be left unread
But I am just a journal
If opened I am a journal
And if not I am the same
