Well when I rune scar it uses up 100% CPU usage and makes runescape very laggy when im using a script, I was wondering if anyone would know I could stop this lag...

Upgrade your graphics card/RAM?
Delete programs you dont use?
Clean your computer?
Disk defrag?
choose...

you may want to open up your task manager (ctrl+alt+delete) and change your browser to a higher priority.

that might help it stop lagging

If possible just backup your data and re-format. There usually are so many different background programs running that aren't listed after about a year or so, its just best to format and start over. I format all of my computers once a month, and don't let anything get installed on them except for what I install. (4 LAN rigs and 1 Quad core goddess 8800's SLI 3.6ghz quad :))

They all run just as good as the day I had built them and I have even got to the point where I keep an image of each computer of when they were first formatted with the programs needed already installed on a external HDD and just install from the image. Much faster than the windows install.

If you can go for the format. If you cannot, uninstall any program that you do not use. Disable all processes on startup except for your security programs, and defrag.

Everything mentioned should help, although I don't know the specs on your computer so I really can't tell how much they will help.
